Let’s talk about the value of the Helldivers 2 Killzone 2 Crossover content and whether they are worth buying.
Helldivers 2 has been rolling out multiple new content lately with the Killzone 2 crossover one of its recent entries. The content features an armor set and a primary weapon along with other cosmetics like a cape, banner, and a player title themed around Guerrilla Games’ hit tactical shooter title.
The crossover event will only last for around five days. This means you only have a few days to purchase these limited-edition items in the game. You also won’t have enough time to grind Super Credits (SC) due to the short duration of the event.
To help you decide, let’s discuss whether the Helldivers 2 Killzone 2 crossover content is worth buying.

The Helldiers 2 collaboration event with Killzone 2 is split into two parts. The first phase will be the Assault Infantry and is currently ongoing. The second part is scheduled to arrive sometime in Christmas.
Phase 1: Assault Infantry Bundle
The first part of the collaboration event features the following items:

StA-52 Assault Rifle is similar to the AR-23 Liberator but with a higher fire rate and a bit bigger magazine size. However, the downside is it doesn’t include an optic. It doesn’t stand out from the rest of the weapons in Helldivers 2.
The AC-1 Dutiful medium armor set has a special passive called Acclimated that grants 50% resistance to fire, gas, acid, and electrical damage. Having this effect is good in general. However, there really isn’t much advantage in being the jack of all trades in this game. You will need to mix and match your equipment based on the mission you choose to take. There are barely any perks in wearing an armor that can block most of the elements as you won’t be dealing with all of these hazards at once.
Overall, the complete Helldivers 2 x Killzone 2 crossover bundle costs 1,975 SC to unlock. It’s definitely super expensive and would take months’ worth of your hard-earned currency unless you purchase it with real money. In that case, you will need to purchase around $19.99 US worth of Super Credits.
Considering how expensive the first crossover set is, you might think the second wave of the event will also be as expensive. Fortunately, this is not the case.
Phase 2: Defender of Our Dream Bundle
After hearing about the community feedback about the crossover event, the developers have decided to give out the second part of the Helldiers 2 x Killzone 2 collaboration bundle for free.

While the second bundle is free and can be acquired in the game immediately, the first bundle is still quite expensive. Youmust decide if you want to have both bundles or settle with the free ones.
Is the Helldivers 2 x Killzone 2 Crossover Content Worth Buying?
Considering how you will get the second bundle for free in the Helldivers x 2 Killzone 2 Crossover, we don’t think it’s worth buying the first one. The content of the bundle does not justify its expensive price. There are better weapons and armor sets with unique effects from other Warbonds.
If you’ve saved enough Super Credits after months of grinding in the game, sure, you can buy the limited-edition bundle. However, if you plan on buying Super Credits just to get a bundle that does not justify its value, it’s better to save your money for future content drops or bundles that offer more impactful gear. Unless you are after the bragging rights of having exclusive items that would probably be unobtainable in the future.
As mentioned before, the second bundle is given out for free. This means, you still acquire some of the Helldivers 2 x Killzone 2 Crossover items that you can add to your collection. It all comes down to whether you want these bundles as a collection or not. If you want better gears, it is better to choose between all the other Warbond bundles instead of the crossover items as they barely offer anything unique that gives you gameplay advantage.
