TheOfficialTeddy has several bans under their belt. Their games have always attracted a lot of criticism, with many in the community comparing them to dating simulators, aka condo games. Roblox started investigating Teddy after garnering massive backlash from the creator in The Hatch. The company released the results of the investigation in a newsletter on June 30, announcing the removal of all games associated with TheOfficialTeddy.
According to the report, Roblox initially told TheOfficialTeddy to make changes to the games and stop the issue of “user abuse.” The creator complied, but that was not enough. The report goes on to state that Teddy was violating another “outstanding policy” that cannot be rectified. The platform cited this as the reason for banning all games and groups associated with TheOfficialTeddy. However, the games can become playable once more if another owner makes the necessary changes.

“We asked the creator to make changes to the experience to comply with our Standards regarding user abuse within experiences, and they were able to comply within our timeline. However, in the course of our investigation, we also confirmed a separate outstanding policy violation that cannot be rectified. As a result, the user behind TheOfficialTeddy and the groups they own are no longer permitted on Roblox, and we are removing the ability to play their games until we know there is an owner who can run the games in compliance with our Community Standards.”
