Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel announced that he is participating in the Sidemen Charity Match 2025 event. The annual Sidemen Charity Match is a football (soccer) game for charity featuring YouTubers, Twitch streamers, and other content creators. Teams typically feature members from the Sidemen group with other creators on one side as the “Sidemen Football Club” and “YouTube Allstars” on the opposing side featuring content creators from all platforms.

xQc participated in the event in 2023 as the goalkeeper for Team YouTubers and conceded 8 goals against the Sidemen squad. Many internet users were unhappy with his performance and blamed him for the loss. The Twitch streamer promised to make a comeback this year and he wants to secure the MVP (most valued player) award.

The Sidemen Charity events started in 2016 to raise money for the healthcare sector. Since its inception, the event secured the Guinness World Record for the “most viewers for a charity sports match live stream on YouTube” in 2022. The stream secured over 2.5 million concurrent viewers and it still holds the Guinness record to this date.

xQc Wants To Become MVP at Sidemen Charity Match 2025

The Sidemen group is revealing participants for the upcoming event daily and on March 2, 2025, they revealed xQc as one of the participants. The group posted a tweet saying:

“Let the redemption arc begin”

xQc retweeted the post and said he is confident about becoming MVP this year. The Twitch streamer said:

“MVP this year, I’m calling it”

His tweet went viral and fans became concerned immediately. After his dismal performance in the previous event, internet users think Team YouTubers has no chance of winning.

IShowSpeed Called  the Streamer “The Worst Goalkeeper”

YouTube streamer Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. was xQc’s teammate in the 2023 event during their 5-8 loss. xQc’s return surprised IShowSpeed and he reacted:

“Oh, hell no! xQc is the goalkeeper again? Oh, hell nah! And he’s on the YouTube All-Stars? Chat, I’m not playing, bro. Oh, hell no, chat. Like, bro, I’ve never seen any worse goalkeeper a day in my life, bro. This has to be probably the worst goalkeeper that I have ever seen in a day in my life, chat. Like, I’m not even trolling, chat.”

IShowSpeed found out that the Twitch streamer is playing for the Sidemen team this year and he calmed down. He said he feels hopeful knowing he does not have to suffer another 8-5 loss again. He added:

“This looks better. See, look, now we have a chance. He’s on KSI’s and the Sidemen’s team. Okay! Oh, s**t! Okay. All right. I got click-baited.”

The Sidemen charity match is scheduled for March 8, 2025. All participating streamers can livestream the match or fans can tune into the Sidemen YouTube channel to catch it live.
