IShowSpeed reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo’s birthday wish with excitement, saying, ‘I literally screamed and backflipped.’
Darren “IShowSpeed” shared his excitement after discovering that his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, had wished him a happy birthday. The streamer stated that he was on an airplane when someone asked him to check his Instagram comments. After being unable to check his Instagram due to network issues, the streamer said he would check it later. Speed then checked his comments while at the airport and stated that he screamed when he saw Cristiano’s comment. Speed also stated that he backflipped in the middle of the airport and cried a bit.
“I was in the middle of the airplane. I was like, ‘What the f**k Oh my…’ Like, I literally screamed, bro, in the middle of the airport! I did like, chat, I did a backflip, and everybody was looking at me, chat. But y’all, chat, Ronaldo said happy birthday to me, bro!”

The streamer was traveling to Chile after streaming in Argentina for his birthday. He was streaming live in Chile when he shared his experience. Before stating that he screamed and backflipped at the airport, he stated that people wish him all the time. He mentioned that he was standing there with a camera; however, he forgot to record it. IShowSpeed said that he kept refreshing his Instagram page to check who commented.
“Somebody woke me up and was like, ‘Yo, check your Instagram comments.’ I’m like, ‘What? What is you talking about? Check your IG comments?’ They said, ‘Somebody told you happy birthday.’ I’m like, ‘Bro, people tell me happy birthday all the time!’ I’m like, ‘Okay, all right, all right,’ but my data wasn’t working.”
While in Chile, Speed met up with soccer player and former teammate of Cristiano, Arturo Vidal. The streamer played soccer with Vidal and had a brief interaction. Arturo also gifted Speed a custom jersey of the Chilean team Colo-Colo.

After the stream went live, several clips of IShowSpeed sharing his experience were shared on social media. Fans stated that it was a legendary moment for the streamer and that they expected him to do backflips. A fan also shared the iconic “sewey” clip that started it all for Speed.
