YouTube content creator Darren Watkisn Jr. aka iShowSpeed had an eventful 2024 and reached multiple milestones in his career. In 2024, Speed won the Most Influential Soccer Creator award at the Goal Champions Awards 2024. He also won Best IRL Streamer, Best International Streamer, and Streamer of the Year at The Streamer Awards 2024.
When he traveled to Europe to watch the UEFA Euro 2024 soccer event, he doubled his viewership with over 188,000 peak viewers.

His Indonesia trip was his most successful IRL streaming venture to date. The streamer secured nearly 2 million hours of watch time with a peak viewership of 1,043,028 viewers. He averaged 548,753 viewers throughout the livestream and gained over 200,000 viewers.
His most streamed game was Minecraft but he primarily streams IRL content on his YouTube channel. iShowSpeed’s travel vlogs have gone viral. He played with soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo’s son Ronaldo Jr. and it turned out to be his most popular video in 2024 with over 22 million views.

In February 2024, Speed played in the Match for Hope event where he tackled former Brazilian footballer Ricardo Kaka.
He briefly appeared with Logan Paul in WWE’s annual Wrestlemania event on April 7, 2024. Speed dressed up as a bottle of Prime to help promote the product for Logan. He interfered during the match between Logan Paul, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton as part of the show. Orton, who is one of WWE’s veteran wrestlers used his signature “RKO” move on Speed into the commentator’s table.
iShowSpeed made another appearance at WWE later that month to announce the wrestling lineup for WWE Raw. He was once again joined by Logan Paul who announced the draft picks for Smackdown.
Speed reached 25 million subscribers during his trip to Europe in June 2024. During his trip, he attended the UEFA Euro 2024 soccer event and traveled throughout the continent. Fans attacked the streamer and injured him.
In September 2024, iShowSpeed toured Southeast Asia, which became his most popular content series to date. He made history by becoming the first English-speaking streamer to break 1 million viewers in a livestream in Indonesia.

Speed is a soccer fan, and he openly expresses how much he likes Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo. He teamed up with his favorite soccer player to donate $100,00 to Francisco, a child who lost both parents in an accident. Speed connected Francisco with the soccer player and promised him a trip to meet the Portuguese national team.
In November 2024. Speed raced against 2024 Summer Olympics gold medalist Noah Lyles for a MrBeast video. The streamer lost the race but the moment went viral on YouTube as he put up a good fight against Lyles.
