While in-game, click on the Chat Box icon. This is the icon that sits on the top-left corner of your screen and is shaped like a square with a protruding cone at the bottom.
This will open up the in-game chat box. This is where you normally type messages to send to other players. Instead of messages, however, you can also input the console commands. Input the command of your choice and press the Enter key to activate the command. The game will then read your command and grant your request.
