Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire told Kai Cenat that the streamer should get into acting and praised his Twitch streams.
Twitch streamer Kai Cenat met one of his favorite Hollywood actors, Tobey Maguire, at the Super Bowl on February 8, 2025. Maguire allegedly told Cenat that he loves the streamer’s Mafiathon streams and asked him to give acting a shot.
Kai considers Maguire to be the “original” Spider-Man. Maguire is an actor and producer known for his work as Spider-Man in Sam Raimi’s trilogy of movies in the 2000s. The actor had a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021 and has also self-produced movies.
Maguire allegedly told Cenat that he wanted to be on the Twitch streamer’s broadcasts. Kai said that his experience with the actor was like “literally meeting Peter Parker,” the main protagonist of the Spider-Man franchise.
Kai Cenat Talks About His Time With Tobey Maguire
YouTuber Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. and Kai Cenat competed with each other in a National Football League (NFL) flag football game to promote the Super Bowl. Staff at the event told him that Maguire would watch the Super Bowl the following day, which prompted Kai to meet one of his favorite actors. When the two interacted, Kai told Maguire:
“You’re the only person I wanted to meet.”
Maguire greeted him and brought up Kai’s Mafiathon 2 trailer. The actor told him:
“You did something… it was like a film, and you did amazing in it, like you’re good… something with a ‘thon…”
Kai told him that it was a trailer for his subathon stream. The actor responded:
“Yes! You actually did amazing, you need to act.”
Kai told his chat that meeting Maguire was like meeting the “most humble, genuine, cool person.” The streamer detailed his encounter with the actor:
“It’s literally Peter Parker, peak Spiderman, vintage Spiderman, the n*gga who fought Green Goblin… the ni**a that was told, ‘With great power, comes great responsibility’, is looking at me in my face.”
Cenat and Ishowspeed Attended NFL After-Party With Celebrities
Maguire was not the only celebrity Kai Cenat met at the Super Bowl. The streamer attended singer Cardi B’s after-party with his girlfriend, Gabrielle Alayah, and fellow content creator IShowSpeed. The streamers joined personalities from the music and film industries at the Treehouse Lounge in New Orleans.

Other artists like Tyla and Ice Spice also attended the event with the streamers. Rapper Quavious “Quavo” Keyate Marshall was seen rapping his song Hotel Lobby with other partygoers. Kai’s fans feel that he achieved mainstream status with the streamer being invited to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), the NFL Super Bowl, and the Grammys in 2025.
The streamer recently partnered with Warner Bros. and is working on his next big subathon project. Warner Bros. will assist Kai in setting up a production facility for his Batman Arkham trilogy playthrough this year.
