Twitch streamer Katchii was banned after she made alleged Nazi hand gestures at Emiru’s Chinese New Year party.
Streamer Katherine “Katchii” attended One True King member Emily “Emiru” Schunk’s Chinese New Year party in February and allegedly performed a Nazi salute. Her actions caught multiple guests by surprise, including her friend and Twitch streamer Nick “Nmplol” Polom. Twitch banned Katchii’s account for seven days a day after the incident.
The Nazi salute, also known as the Sieg Heil salute, symbolized obedience to Adolf Hitler and Germany from the 1920s to the 1940s. After World War II, Germany outlawed the salute, making it punishable by up to three years in prison. Using the salute is widely condemned, and Nmplol and Arther “Misterarther” Swerhun had recently explained to Katchii why it was offensive.
Katchii acknowledged her actions and said that the salute was insensitive. She admitted that being drunk influenced her actions, sparking even more criticism online. Twitch will restore her account on February 13, 2025.
Katchii Apologizes for “Unacceptable and Insensitive” Gesture
After Twitch banned Katchii’s account, the streamer apologized and admitted that she deserved the ban. She told her fans:
“That was completely unacceptable and insensitive. It’s not funny, it’s not a joke, and it shouldn’t be normalized. I also realized I cannot handle alcohol in the slightest – I’m quitting. Taking this time to reflect and be more mindful of my actions and the impact they have. To anyone I offended or disappointed, I’m sorry. See you in 7 days.”
This is not the first time that the streamer has had problems with alcohol. She presented the ‘Hidden Gem’ award at The Streamer Awards 2024, arriving late and slurring her words. After the incident, she said that she was a new streamer and that “these things happen.”
Emiru Allegedly Tried To Cover Up the Incident
OTK member Emiru allegedly tried to cover up Katchii’s actions. After the salute clip went viral, internet users claimed that Emiru or her mods banned everyone who clipped the incident. Emiru’s VOD from February 5, 2025, has also disappeared from her channel.
While Katchii is not a full-time One True King (OTK) member, she frequently appears on OTK members’ streams. Fans criticized her apology, saying that OTK members and their friends keep creating controversies.
In November 2024, Twitch streamer and OTK member John “Tectone” faced serious allegations from his ex-girlfriend “Pinkychu.” OTK and Tectone parted ways following the allegations. In January 2025, OTK co-founder Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt made controversial comments about the Holocaust, sparking debates online. He had previously made controversial comments about Palestinians, which led to a two-week ban in October 2024.
