Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii was released on February 20 or 21, 2025 (depending on where you live). The game is currently sitting at “Very Positive” on Steam, with 92% of reviews being positive. The game has not had many performance issues to mar its launch, unlike many other PC releases in the current industry.

However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any issues. Some crashes and errors have been identified and fixed in these patch notes. Furthermore, the developers have assured the community that they are working to fix these issues. These patch notes are available on Steam, X, and the official Ryu Ga Gotoku website as well.

Here is everything we learned from the latest Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii 1.11 Update Patch Notes.

Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii 1.11 Patch Notes Fixes

This patch only had one major fix mentioned by the developers. This was an issue with DLSS and DLSS frame generation. Within certain environments, these mechanics would not work properly.

The latest release has now fixed this issue. Therefore, if you were experiencing any such issues with DLSS frame generation, it should be fixed by now.

Random Crashes Identified

There was one more issue that has now been identified. Multiple users had reported crashes on certain systems under certain conditions. The conditions were:

  • OS: Windows 11 24H2
  • CPU: Core i9-14900
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
  • Drivers: GeForce Game Ready Driver 572.47 / 572.16 / 566.36
  • Settings: 3840×2160 / 120Hz / VSync disabled / Uncapped FPS

Developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios has confirmed that crashes have occurred in the above circumstances. Furthermore, they have also clarified how to get rid of these crashes. They have stated that reverting the driver version to 552.44 should fix the ongoing random crashes.

Further Verification

We also received further information on this. Driver versions 555.85 and 561.09 should also be safe from these crashes. However, they have confirmed that crashes also occur on driver versions 556.90 and 572.60. Therefore, you should consider switching to a more stable driver version.

Those were all the version 1.11 Patch Notes for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Are you experiencing any other bugs or issues?
