Consumables can help out when you are in a pinch. Here is how you can get consumables in the Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Demo.

Using items in the middle of combat to aid the player has been a mainstay in games for decades now. The Yakuza franchise is no exception to this trope. There are lots of signature items which have been in Yakuza games for a long time. These would include the likes of Toughness and Tauriner drinks.
Here is how you obtain these powerful consumables in the Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Demo.
What Do Consumables Do?

Consumables are one-time-use items, which Majima can use in or outside of combat. Additionally, these items can be accessed from the inventory at any time, making them very useful. These items will have different effects, which will be mentioned in the description. They will have effects ranging from restoring your health to increasing the charge rate of the madness gauge. So, use them according to the situation you find yourself in.
The most common consumables, which have been present in the Yakuza series are:
- Tauriner: This series of items only restores the user’s Heat Gauge. The amount restored will depend on the tier of the item used.
- Toughness: These items only restore the health of the user. There are different tiers of this item that can restore different amounts of health.
- Staminan: Staminan is arguably the best series of items in the game. These items can restore both health and the heat gauge. However, they also cost a lot more than the others.
Where To Get Consumables In Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii?

In the demo, from what we know at the moment, you can only get consumables at the general stores. They are denoted by a shopping cart icon on the maps. So, you can find them fairly easily by opening up your map.
You have two options for traveling to these stores. Firstly, you can choose to run to the store on foot. Otherwise, you have the option of placing a pin on the store. Then you can get atop your Street Surfer, and select the Auto-Cruise function. This will let the game drive you to the desired location by itself.
Additionally, for the demo, you can also find these consumables in the clothing stores. However, this is expected to be changed when the full game comes out.
