The Goro Kingdom is one of the many side activities available in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and unlocks during Chapter 1. This miniature menagerie allows you to adopt and raise a number of animal companions. Rest assured that taking care of these animals grants you multiple rewards as well.

How To Raise Your Friendship Level With the Animals?
To raise your friendship with the animals, you will have to feed them pet food. In exchange for being fed, the animals will also give you ingredients as rewards. Additionally, each animal has 3 different ingredients they can give based on their friendship level. There are 3 different qualities of pet food that you can give. The higher the quality of the food given, the more ingredients you will be given. Higher-quality food will also increase your friendship faster.
The three qualities of pet food are Pet Food, High End Pet Food and Ultimate Pet Food. You will get one ingredient in exchange for pet food. You will be given four ingredients for High End Pet Food and seven for Ultimate Pet Food. In addition to finding them by exploring, you can purchase Pet Food for $10 at Stella’s on Rich Island, and High End Pet Food will cost you $150. Ultimate Pet Food, however, cannot be bought and must be found in briefcases around the map.
The animals can be fed every five minutes. So, after feeding the animals, you will have to wait five minutes to feed them again. Additionally, once the friendship bar has been built up, you can even recruit the creatures as your crewmates. With that said, here are all of the animals you can raise.
Who Are All of the Animals You Can Raise?
You can raise a total of 11 animals in the Goro Kingdom. Each of these animals can join your pirate crew. Moreover, raising them gives different rewards to you. So, raise them with patience, and you will be rewarded. The animals you can raise are:
Goro
Goro is Noah’s pet tiger and is available from the beginning. He gives rabbit meat, then pheasant meat, and finally bear meat.
Phoenix
Phoenix is a chicken who is unlocked at the same time as the Goro Kingdom itself. She gives an egg, then a quality egg, and finally a golden egg.
Alarm Cluck
Alarm Cluck is a chicken found in the apartment area west of Ayame Street. They are being hunted by a sleep-deprived man. Take care of him, and Alarm Cluck will join you. Their rewards are the same as Phoenix.
Onigiri
Onigiri is a cat who is unlocked as part of an unmissable substory in District Five. He gives an Aweoweo, then a Humuhumunukunukuapua’a, and finally an Oarfish.
Allure
Allure is another cat. However, you can find this one at Aloha Street, west of the Hawaiian Barbecue. To get the feline’s attention, you must wear the Goromi outfit. Moreover, Allure’s rewards are the same as Onigiri’s.
Turtle
Turtle is a dog found at the intersection between River Street and Kaku Avenue. A gang of lowlifes are assaulting him. After you deliver justice, Turtle will join your kingdom. Lastly, he gives a flounder, then a salmon, and finally a Mahi Mahi.
Gourmand
The Gourmand can be found in the Anaconda Shopping District. To recruit them, you must offer them some caught Sashimi. Additionally, their rewards are the same as Turtle.
Zoomies
Zoomies is in the harbor district. Agree to help catch them, but choose to “Be Gentle” and Zoomies will join you. Also, their rewards are the same as Turtle and the Gourmand.
Barkley
This is a stray dog near the North entrance of the Anaconda shopping mall. Give them some food, and they will join you. Moreover, their rewards are the same as the rest of the dogs.
Coco
Coco is a chimpanzee found at the Aloha Bridge. A woman will be looking at him up on the tree. Talk to her and go through all of the options to get Coco down. Once you are finished, Coco will be amused and will come down himself to join you. He gives a coconut, a quality mango, and finally a superb pineapple.
Sanzen
Lastly, we have Sanzen. This cow must be purchased by paying their owner $3000. She is found at Sunset Park. She gives fresh milk, quality fresh milk, and finally superb fresh milk.
