Ryu Ga Gotoku has released a new patch for their newest Yakuza game. The 1.13 patch notes for the game detail various bug fixes that might have been bothering players.

At the time of writing this article, the patch has already been rolled out. Simply update the game to the newest version, and the patch should be applied. Here are the Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Version 1.13 patch notes.

Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Patch Notes 1.13

All Platforms

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the game from progressing when opening the “Inventory” menu after redeeming the “Golden Ball” from the “Sicko Snap” menu.

(In cases where Shen has already sent you a message about the transaction, the scenario will progress even if you do not have all of the Golden Balls in your inventory.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the sub-story “The One” movie from being displayed correctly in some cases.

PC Version

  • Fixed an issue in 1.12 where the frame rate dropped, and loading times increased compared to previous versions.

The ‘Golden Ball’ issue was identified in another announcement made on March 11, 2025. It has already gotten fixed in the Version 1.13 patch, so players do not need to worry about this problem anymore.
