You need to complete the following bond chats to start Drink Links with Saejima Taiga:

Once you complete the last bond chat, head down to the crew quarters of the ship. There, you can find Saejima Taiga leaning against the wall. Interact with him and select the ‘Drink with Saejima’ option to begin Drink Links with him.

Conversation with Saejima Taiga
Saejima leads the conversation by saying how he and Majima used to go drinking a lot back in the day. However, Saejima is also unhappy because Majima cannot recall these memories. The conversation then turns to food and Yakiniku joins in, hoping that it might make Majima remember something, but Saejima comes up with a sudden question between their exchange. The question is what Saejima used to order the most, to which you can reply with:
- It’s gotta be kalbi.
- I’m in the mood for some good ol’ tripe.
- Hirami. Y’know, like the diaphragm.
Choose “I’m in the mood for some good ol’ tripe.” as it is the only correct answer. Any other answers will disappoint Saejima Taiga due to your failure to remember his favorite cut of meat.
The discussion now takes a turn from Yakiniku to women. Additionally, Majima starts to show an unusual interest in his friend’s love life much to Saejima’s embarrassment. Saejima eventually gives in and you have to choose between three names:
- Moana
- Naomi
- Queen Michele
The correct choice here is “Naomi.” as she seems quite extraordinary and strong-minded. Moreover, Saejima can see the connection between him and Naomi, and how he can come to like her. Once Saejima Taiga Drink Links concludes, his level cap increases to 50 and upgrades his Squad leader trait. Lastly, the trait is now ‘Veteran Bonded’ and the effects it includes are:
