The Captain’s Return is a substory in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. You will encounter Fukuyama, as he tries his best to clean up litter from the streets of Honolulu. He will need Majima’s help to do so.
Finishing this substory lets you recruit this man to your crew. Therefore, it’s a nice easy quest you can do to increase your crew size. Here is the complete guide for The Captain’s Return in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
How To Start The Captain’s Return
This substory can be started in Chapter 2. However, you need to progress in Chapter 2 until you reach Honolulu, and then keep going until you see the main story objective become ‘Recruit 15 crew members and obtain $10,000’. Once you have this, and blue chat icons start appearing on the map, this quest will be available for grabs.
Simply head over to Resort Boulevard, and locate the blue text bubble icon. Get close, and this quest should start.
How To Complete The Captain’s Return
The quest starts with Majima encountering a bandana-wearing man. You can see him picking up trash off the ground. After a short dialogue, you will be directed to pick up five pieces of trash across the street. These items are easy to locate.
Just walk across the street, and you will notice various blue markers on your mini-map. When you get close to a trash location, more blue markers will appear on your map.
Four of the five pieces are located on the ground, with the last piece a little hidden. You can find it on the roof of a building on the corner of the street. Simply locate the chain hook point near the roof, and climb the building.
Once you have obtained all five pieces, return to the man to report on your progress. He will reveal himself to be Fukuyama, a leader of a gang last seen in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. However, two ‘menacing men’ interrupt your conversation. Finish off the fight, and Fukuyama will be extremely grateful for your aid.
What Do You Get For Completing This Substory?
Finishing this substory makes Fukuyama join the Goro Pirates. His moniker is the ‘Dread Pirate Hook’. Putting him in the position of a Squad Leader will make your Heat Gauge charge faster.
