Little Nightmares 3, the highly anticipated new entry in Bandai Namco Entertainment and Tarsier Studios’ iconic horror franchise, recently received a confirmed release date. The game was revealed during The Game Awards 2024. However, it only recently received a concrete release date alongside other key details regarding its pre-order. Although the series was conceived by Tarsier Studios, the third mainline title is not developed by them.
Instead, Little Nightmares 3 comes courtesy of Supermassive Games, known for Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology. Furthermore, despite the title being handled by a new studio, Little Nightmares 3 carries on the tradition of its predecessors by offering a unique single-player horror adventure.

Little Nightmares 3 Release Date and Platforms
Little Nightmares 3 is scheduled to be released on October 10, 2025. Surprisingly, despite using Unreal Engine 5, the game is launching on both current-gen and previous-gen systems, including Nintendo Switch. Essentially, the game is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
Furthermore, apart from Borderlands 4, Little Nightmares 3 is among the very few third-party titles releasing on the Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day as other platforms. That said, the game does not offer any early access incentives for pre-ordering, which is quite rare for modern Triple-A or even Double-A games nowadays.
Little Nightmares 3 Editions and Prices
Similar to its predecessor, Little Nightmares 3 is offered in two different editions: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Edition costs $40 and includes the base game. The Deluxe Edition, which is $20 more expensive at $60, comes with an exclusive cosmetics pack and the game’s Expansion Pass, in addition to the base game.
Note that the contents of the Expansion Pass will be released at a later date. In addition to this, both Standard and Deluxe Editions of Little Nightmares 3 come with a pre-order bonus cosmetic bundle. Here is a breakdown of the different editions and the pre-order bonus:
