Developer Bossa Studios has officially announced the Early Access release date for it’s upcoming game Lost Skies.

What is the Release Date for Early Access Lost Skies?
The official launch date for the early access release of Lost Skies is set for April 18, 2025. Furthermore, it will only be available on PC through the Steam platform.
Lost Skies is an upcoming open-world co-op survival adventure game developed by Bossa Studios and published by Humble Games. It is set in a world filled with floating islands, mysterious ruins, and an expansive sky to explore. Furthermore, the game combines exploration, crafting, and resource management uniquely. You are tasked with surviving in a vast, dynamic world, while building strength to take back the world from the Serif. Additionally, you’ll be battling environmental challenges, and engaging with an array of creatures and NPCs.
How to Play Lost Skies in Early Access
You can only play Lost Skies in Early Access if you buy the game on Steam. There is no information yet on what the purchase price of Lost Skies will be.
Additionally, there are currently no plans to bring the game to any consoles, including Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch. Moreover, Bossa Games has made no hints or promises that the game may make the jump in the future. However, it does provide support for controllers if any console players are interested in joining on PC.
When is the Full Release of Lost Skies?
Unfortunately, there is currently no exact date available for the full release of Lost Skies. According to the developer, “Our current priority is to launch Lost Skies as the best possible game on PC.” Furthermore, there has been no information about a roadmap, or what the early access timeline may be. However, in their Early Access post on Steam, they claim to be aiming for a 1.0 release later this year.
Additionally, Bossa Studios has stated that they expect the game to be a full purchase and currently “do not have an emphasis on microtransactions.” They also mention that they will continue to support the game with ongoing content updates. Some may be free, while others will be considered DLC and cost additional money.
