Perfect blocks and parrying are essential for this battle, especially since they can leave a window of opportunity during the fight. The real challenge is lasting long in a three-phase fight and building up the stagger meter.
Lord Buckhorn Attacks in Lost Soul Aside

These are some of their attacks and how you can counter them:
- Shockwave: The boss will slam its fist on the ground and cause a powerful area-of-effect attack.
- Ice breath: Lord Buckhorn will use its fire or ice breath and swipe between left and right. Evade each swipe by running to the opposite end.
How To Defeat Lord Buckhorn in Lost Soul Aside

As a much larger foe, Lord Buckhorn is practically stationary, and all it can do is smash and swipe with its limbs. Oftentimes, their hands will be on the arena, and you can rush through and break the ice. After it has had enough, it will perform a powerful slam that can be countered with a perfect block.
If you get the timing right, the boss will be stunned, and you have a few seconds to land a few hits. After breaking its fingers, the head will fall, and Kaser can deal more attacks to its weak spot. It is worth noting that each limb has its respective health bar, and it can take a while to break.
