Rose Queen is another boss you will face early in Lost Soul Aside. This enemy is part of Chapter 1: The Departure. Once you defeat this enemy, you will be in the final phases of the chapter, and you can proceed to the next. Like many other enemies, this boss packs a mean punch, but they are not invincible.

Lost Soul Aside: Rose Queen Boss Guide: Overview
Lost Soul Aside could make even the most seasoned Souls players sweat because their attacks will chip away their health bar bit by bit. The Rose Queen is an archer that can teleport around the arena and blast energy projectiles, then emit area-of-effect attacks. This boss can be quite challenging, especially with its intense speed and durability.
They can be found near the end of Chapter 1, which makes them a fitting end to the opening chapter. Unlike the Lord GoldenLion, this boss has an extra phase, which could make this fight tedious. Focus your melee attacks and hit them as fast as you can. You will eventually build their stagger bar and chip away their actual health bar.
Rose Queen Attacks in Lost Soul Aside
These are some of the Rose Queen’s attacks that you should look out for:
- Ranged attacks: The best way to counter this attack is to be quick on your feet and time your dodges.
- Random teleportation: Rose Queen will randomly teleport around the field to confuse Kaser.
- Area-of-effect attack: Similar to the Lord GoldenLion boss, they will use area-of-effect attacks that can throw you off your game plan.
- Launch strike: The boss will hover in the air for a short while, then hit the ground with another strong area-of-effect attack.
- Sword swing: Whenever you are close, the boss will swipe her sword towards you.
How To Defeat Rose Queen in Lost Soul Aside
At the start of the battle, Rose Queen will do everything in her power to create as much distance as possible. This is because it will prioritize using its range attacks for most of the fight. Try and close the gap by dashing and dodging her incoming attacks and slashing away.
Parry incoming melee attacks to stun the Rose Queen, and this will buy you enough time to deal a few attacks. Take your time, and this boss will eventually succumb to their injuries, and you will receive the following items:
- Life Force Shard
- Gold Rimmed Star
- Goldrose
- Mountain Break
