This guide provides a walkthrough on solving the Hidden Palace Guiding Pillar Puzzle in Lost Soul Aside, which is essential to progress further.
You will encounter the Guiding Pillar Puzzle in Lost Soul Aside while exploring the Hidden Palace in Chapter 2. After squeezing through a narrow path and defeating a group of enemies, the Guiding Pillars will emerge from the ground. You will find five pillars at the centre of the open arena with a sealed door in front of you. To unlock this door and continue forward, you must solve the puzzle. How To Solve the Light Pillar Puzzle in Lost Soul Aside
Before reaching the five Guiding Pillars puzzle, the game introduces the mechanics with a single Guiding Pillar in an earlier area. Gethya explains the mechanic by asking you to move the Guiding Pillar. It requires you to hit the pillar with the Greatsword to align the light with the sealed door. The five Guiding Pillar puzzle also follows the same mechanics, except now you must align the lights of five Guiding Pillars instead of just one.
Move the Guiding Pillars by striking them with the Greatsword to reposition them. Positioning all five Guiding Pillars in the right position passes the light to the sealed door and opens it.
Light Pillar Puzzle Solution in Lost Soul Aside
Follow these steps to solve the Guiding Pillar Puzzle in Hidden Palace.
- Start from the sealed door and head to the pillar on your left. Strike the Guiding Pillar twice from its left side.
- Then, approach the next pillar on your left. Move the pillar to the right side by striking it twice from its left side. This will connect the two pillars and pass the light.
- Now head to the Guiding Pillar on the right side of the sealed door. Move the pillar two tiles to the right side by hitting it with the Greatsword two times.
- Now, go to the pillar on your right. Move the pillar to the right side by hitting it once.
- This connects the lights from all pillars and hence unlocks the sealed door on your front, opening up your path forward.
