Lost Soul Aside, the upcoming action-adventure title from developer Ultizero Games finally has a confirmed release date of May 30, 2025. Announced back in 2022, Lost Souls Aside is a fantasy action-adventure game that borrows elements from games like Final Fantasy, and Devil May Cry.
It’s a single-player game that sees players take control of Kaser, who wields powers of a “shape-shifting dragon.” Built using Unreal Engine 4, Lost Souls Aside boasts some pretty impressive visuals and cinematic set-pieces. Furthermore, the game seems to borrow heavy inspiration from the modern Final Fantasy games for not only its world but also the characters that inhabit it.
With the game’s release date officially announced, pre-orders for the title have also gone live on supported platforms. Here’s everything you need to know about Lost Soul Aside’s pre-orders, editions, and more.
Lost Souls Aside Release Date and Platforms
As mentioned earlier, Lost Souls Aside is scheduled to be released on May 30, 2025. Published by PlayStation (Sony Interactive Entertainment), Lost Soul Aside is releasing as a PS5 console exclusive. This means that the game will not be coming to competitor console platforms, i.e., Xbox, Nintendo, etc.
However, Lost Souls Aside is getting a simultaneous PC release, on the same day as the PS5 version. This is somewhat akin to Game Science’s Black Myth Wukong, which was also released only on PS5 and PC. Additionally, there are no “early access” or “advanced access” incentives for pre-ordering the Standard or Deluxe Editions of the game.
Regardless of whichever version of the game you purchase or pre-order, the game will be playable starting May 30, 2025.
Lost Souls Aside Editions and Prices
Similarly to most Triple-A releases nowadays, Lost Soul Aside is offered in multiple versions – Standard and Deluxe Editions. However, despite being a “current-gen-only” title, the game isn’t priced at the usual $70. Instead, it costs $60 for the Standard Edition. With the Standard Edition, you get access to the base game and the pre-order bonuses.
Whereas, with the Deluxe Edition, which costs $70, you get access to a few additional in-game items on top of the Standard Edition content. Furthermore, the Deluxe Edition also comes with the official artbook and soundtrack (in digital format), which fans of collectibles won’t want to miss out on.
