With so much serene beauty spread across the lands of Sicily, do you have access to a photo mode in Mafia The Old Country to capture it?
Photo modes are a type of feature that adds to the remembrance value of a game. Many games, along with enhanced mechanics, also like to offer the player a visual mastery of art. The Photo Mode feature allows you to capture a moment in the game while giving you creative freedom with tools such as camera positioning, lighting control, and various filters and effects.
Mafia The Old Country, however, will not feature Photo Mode. But it does compensate with a fun replacement.
Photo Mode in Mafia The Old Country
Hangar 13 conducted an official Q&A post on their Mafia’s X social account. During this, one of the questions was whether Mafia The Old Country would include a Photo Mode. While they mentioned that the mode would not be a part of the game, they provided an alternative. In place of Photo Mode, Mafia The Old Country will instead have a side objective for clicking photographs.
The Photograph Collection task unlocks during Chapter 4 when Enzo and Isabella go for their horse ride together. During this mission, there comes a point where Isabella takes Enzo to a cliff to enjoy the serene beauty of the vast valley. This is where you will click your first photograph of many with an antique camera, which she will hand you. There are a total of 23 photographs that you can take, ranging from various sceneries to monuments, increasing your urge and motivation to explore the lands of Sicily.
This side quest will also later add up, along with other collectibles, to acquire the Collector trophy. Later in the game, you will also unlock the fast travel mode, which will help you teleport directly to the next spot to click photos, saving you any travel time.
