Reach the Tannery
The mission begins with a simple objective: to arrive at the Tannery. The easiest way to reach the location is to avoid pressing any movement keys, allowing your character to drive there automatically. Once you arrive, interact with Leo to trigger a cutscene in which you enter the Tannery and see several other persons, including Don Torrisi and Don Galante.
During the meeting, they reveal their plan to print counterfeit money using an old American printing machine. However, to make the plan work, they need help from a forger and access to his printing plates. Your next objective is to free their informant from jail to move the plan forward.

Free the Forger
For the next task, head to the Market Square in San Celeste. Once there, you will encounter Isabella and Valentina, but they are not the people you are looking for. Your goal is to find a man wearing a red waistcoat. To locate him, go to the top-right corner of the market. After speaking with him, you will receive information about the forger’s location and get an idea of the guards patrolling the area. Once you have this intel, exit the market and meet with Leo and Cesare to form a plan to rescue the forger.
According to the plan, you need to enter the jail for the rescue near midnight. Make your way to the left corner of the market and locate a ladder. Climb up, exit to the right, and take cover behind the truck. From there, the jail will be directly in front of you. Pick up a bottle and wait until the guards leave the area. Then, move straight ahead and take cover behind the sacks, which are near the jail’s entrance. You will see a single guard whom you must distract by tossing the bottle. Once the guard is away, enter the building and quietly take out the guard downstairs.
Collect the Printing Plates
Exit the jail and continue straight to enter the building located on the opposite side. Shortly after entering, you will need to take down a guard in the kitchen area, followed by another in the next room. Once the area is clear, open the safe using the factory-set code, 00 01 02, to retrieve intel about the plates.
Continue following the quest marker until you reach the central staircase. Now, use a coin to distract the nearby guard, then move ahead to locate Marino’s safe. Open it with the code 28 34 12 to discover that the plates have shifted to D’Amico’s office and that the code to his safe is 02 19 62. Use another coin to distract the guard, then silently choke him to take him out.
Take the stairs to the right, where you will encounter another guard. Once you eliminate him, then proceed down the hall and eliminate another guard near the end. Enter the office and open the safe using the discovered combination to collect the plates. Before leaving, collect a gun from near the table.
Exit the Station
Once you collect the plates, several guards will begin firing at you. Your objective now is to exit the building safely. After clearing all the enemies in the area, head through the gate on the right to make your way out. Just after your entry, Major D’Amico will arrive at the scene, and you will engage in a close combat knife fight with him.
