Enzo and Isabella finally decide to make their grand escape, but destiny has other plans for them in Chapter 14 of Mafia The Old Country.
In the previous chapter of Mafia The Old Country, Chapter 13, Enzo and Cesare took care of business. They, together with the help of Tino, laid waste to the entire Spadaro family. At the end of the mission, Enzo is given an envelope by Leo that holds two ferry tickets. One for him and one for Isabella, which they can use to escape and start a new life. This plan, however, doesn’t sit well with the Don as he finds out about Isabella’s child and the grand plan. These events lead to what is to come in the final chapter of Mafia The Old Country.

Chapter 14 in Mafia The Old Country
Chapter 14, La Merica, in Mafia The Old Country begins with Enzo and Isabella making their way to the train station, where they are stopped by Tino. Following a series of events, we will ultimately have major face-offs with some of the prominent names in the game, including Don Torrisi, Tino as well and Cesare. You can follow the guide below to complete the final chapter in the game.
Drive to the Train Station
The chapter begins with two of the characters embarking on a car ride to drive up to the meeting checkpoint. Once you reach the house, walk to the door to trigger a cutscene. You will meet Valentina and Isabella, where they will bid their final farewells. After the cutscene, both enter the car and begin their drive to the train station. There is a brief conversation between Enzo and Isabella where they talk about how their lives are about to change.
On the way, we see one of Don’s men, Daniele, on the road. Enzo cooks up a lie to try and dodge Daniel’s question. After a small conversation, he asks them to get going. After finally reaching the train station, Enzo passes on a letter to Isabella filled with words he wishes to tell her. Once the cutscene ends, they approach the train, where Tino and his men are all waiting for them. This is also where it is revealed that Cesare was one of the transpires of this situation. Enzo and Isabella are separated before Enzo is knocked out by one of Tino’s men.
Fight With Cesare
You wake up inside a car, where you will speak with Cesare. Cesare explains his reasoning behind backstabbing Enzo. They both explain their situations until they reach the destination. Once there, you will follow Cesare as he takes you to meet the Don. The Done, clearly furious, begins to land some blows on you. In a moment of confrontation, Don then asks Cesare to be the one to kill Enzo. A moment to test his loyalty. Just then, a volcanic eruption distracts them, giving Enzo the chance to dive into Cesare, crashing through the window, outside the house.
Cesare tries to stop you from escaping, resulting in a duel with knives. Timing your dodges is crucial, as your life can deplete quickly. The moment you see a yellow star shine across Cesare’s blade, you will have the chance to parry his attack and deal a heavy blow. With every quarter of Cesare’s life depleting, mini cutscenes trigger. Once you bring his life down to zero, the final cutscene shows Enzo sparing Cesare’s life after calling him his friend.
Escape From the Area
After the fight, you will now have to make your way out of the area. There will be many goons of the Don with whom you will engage in a duel. Once you clear all the enemies outside, enter the small tunnel entrance and clear the enemies in there as well. Use the yellow blip marker on your screen and navigate your way across the area while killing anyone who crosses your path. Each time you reach the blip, a new blip will generate, guiding you to the next reachable checkpoint.
The last checkpoint is right beside a green automobile on top of a bridge. Reaching that will trigger a cutscene. Lava eruptions from the volcano break the bridge you stand on. After you fall down, the shootout continues. Your new task will ask you to take cover in the tunnel. Take the covers and slowly push your way forward to the tunnel, which is just a couple of meters ahead of you to the left.
Avoid Don Troissi’s Gunfire
Once inside the tunnel, the shooting will momentarily stop. Proceed forward and slip through the first gap in front of you. You will need to run forward and jump or crouch depending on the obstacle. Keep following the checkpoints till you reach a door. Open it and continue along the path. Pick up a lantern on this bridge and keep moving forward. Take a right from the end of the path, move ahead, and slide down the slope. This will trigger the next cutscene.
Don Torrisi will be waiting for you, standing on a bridge, aiming his sniper rifle. You will need to slowly make your way forward in a crouched state. There are alternate covers in your path that you will use one after the other. If you get shot, take s second for yourself to self-heal before moving ahead. Once you reach the final box, move to the right and follow the yellow blip towards the short tunnel.
Escape The Mines
The tunnel will begin to collapse on your path, forming new ways for you to escape. When moving ahead, the path in front of you gets blocked. Take a left from here and squeeze your way through the wooden logs. You will face more enemies over here, so be careful of the emitting hazardous smoke. After killing all the enemies over there, move forward till you reach the ladder.
Climb your way up to the upper floor and continue down the path. Follow the blip till you reach a triangle formed by three wooden pillars. A cutscene will trigger. You lift the logs to clear your path to finally reach the exit. This is when you are attacked by the Don. Just as the Don is about to kill you, you hurl a lamp towards him, causing the loose rocks around to fall on top of him, burying him. After the cutscene, make your way up the stairs towards the exit of the mine and move towards the blip.
Kill Don Torissi
The path breaks on your way, causing you to find another one. To your left, you will see a house with a broken wall and two openings. Enter from the right opening, take a left at the end, and squeeze your way through the small gap between the wall. Don Torrisi makes his way towards you, blocking your path once again. We will now face him in a duel.
Don Torissi is a much faster fighter than Cesare, who will rush you with constant hits. Dodging and parrying are important. If timed correctly, you will be able to counter each of his attacks and deliver a fatal blow in return. On depleting 33% of his health bar, another cutscene will trigger. The fight will continue after a brief cutscene. Follow the same pattern of dodges and counterattacks till you trigger the next cutscene at the remaining 33% of his health. Following that, bring his health to zero to reveal the final cutscene of this duel.
Don is about to kill you, but you successfully manage to tackle him and disorient him. This is when you grab his knife and strike him in his gut. Following an exchange of words, the Don finally succumbs to his wounds. This is when Cesare makes an appearance and meets us. He comes closer, winning Enzo’s trust and hugging it out. However, destiny has other plans, as Cesare pierces with his knife, killing you in a fatal twist of events.
Escape The Mansion
A cutscene plays where we are now in the shoes of Isabella. Tino locks you inside the room to ensure you do not escape before he leaves. Block the door of the room we are in to restrict anyone from figuring out your plan. You now have to plan the grand escape to find Enzo (whom she is not aware is deceased).
You first need to approach the balcony door and try to open it, but you soon realize that enough is not possible. Now look for objects around the room to try and open the window. These objects will be scattered all over the floor. Pick up the hairpin close to the fallen cupboard on the floor and use it to unlock the balcony door.
Once outside, move to the right side and enter the adjacent room, and quickly hide under the table. An enemy enters the room, but immediately after, leaves. This is the stealth section of the mission where you need to avoid detection as you escape the room. Once outside, take a left and leave the mansion via the open balcony door. Seeing there is no way out, you will need to escape through the corridor.
Escape Through The Cellar
Return to the mansion from the same door and crouch your way towards the set of stairs. Approach slowly, as there will be some enemies walking up the stairs. Once they leave the area, descend the stairs, and enter the room to the left to speak with the housekeeper. Speak with her, and she will help you with your escape. The housekeeper distracts the guard in front of the room. Once they leave, follow the blip and reach the last door to the right of the main entrance.
Follow your way through the path. Because of the destruction, walls and obstacles will collapse on your path. Keep going forward till you reach the last blip. At the end, there will be a shut cage. You will need to look for a different way to exit. Right behind is a shut door. Once you pass through, some enemies will appear who are in search of Isabella. You have to remain undetected while reaching the blip. The last blip will be in front of a set of stairs, which is where a cutscene will trigger. You finally escape the mansion through the cellar.
Get to Enzo
Follow your way to the blip in a crouched manner to avoid any detection. Due to all the smoke from the volcanic eruption, you can smoothly make your way forward. Right in front of the last blip, three people will be communicating. You will need to wait for them to finish to be able to move ahead. Once you move to the other side, you will meet the housekeeper, who will suggest that you use the garden for your escape. The entire area is under fire, causing you to use the entrance to the left as your path.
Enter and make your way forward through the open door. Take a right from there and enter the next room, which will lead you to the other side of the garden. A cutscene will trigger where you finally encounter Tino. This will start a duel between the two. As Isabella doesn’t have the fighting experience in comparison to Enzo, you will be using the smoke and cover to launch sneak attacks towards Tino.
Kill Tino
Slowly approach Tino till you see the prompt to execute a stealth attack. This will also trigger a button smash mini-game, which, if one deals damage to Tino, if not, you will need to repeat the action. Each action will remove 33% of his health. After executing this same strategy three times, the final cutscene will trigger, where Tino will finally die with a bleed-out due to a knife in his back.
As we are about to escape, Cesare makes his appearance. he doesn’t reveal anything about Enzo but hands her the ferry tickets, which were previously arranged. At the end of Mafia The Old Country, Chapter 14, Isabella is standing alone on the ferry, reading the letter which is left for her by Enzo. With a tear in her eye, she reads on and sheds a smile, thinking about the life with him that could have been.
