Pokemon TCG Pocket has announced a bunch of major changes that will revamp how Ranked Matches are played in the game.
After implementing a lot of changes to its trading system, Pokemon TCG now has plans to change up its Ranked Matches system as well. Although these changes don’t have a concrete date yet, we still have some information regarding these future updates.
Fans have been requesting changes to a number of sectors in Pokemon TCG Pocket recently, and these changes will likely be the first of many upcoming updates. Here is everything to know about future updates for ranked matches in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

The following updates are planned in order to make Ranked Matches more enjoyable:
• Starting after the season beginning in late June, a consecutive win bonus will be added to Ultra Ball Rank and Master Ball Rank.

The official Pokemon TCG Pocket X (formerly Twitter) account made the above post. This post showcased various changes that will make ranked matches more enjoyable for most of the players.
Earlier, the consecutive win bonus did not apply to Ultra Ball and higher ranks. However, this will change after the season begins in late June. The consecutive win bonus will be applicable in Ultra Ball and Master Ball ranks as well. The bonus will surely make ranking up easier if you have a consistent deck.
The second in this set of updates is stopping the mid-season rank drops. These rank drops would push Master Ball players to Ultra Ball and Ultra Ball players to Great Ball. Starting from the late July season, these rank drops will stop. However, you should keep in mind that the new season will still reset your rank progress. This has no future changes planned.
