Marvel Rivals, developed and published by NetEase Games, is a third-person shooter game. The highly anticipated Marvel game is launching on December 6, 2024. The free-to-play 6V6 shooter brings out the popular characters and locations from the evolving Marvel universe.

Marvel Rivals Arrives on PC, PS5, and Xbox X/S
NetEase Games’s ambitious project Marvel Rivals is coming to all platforms, meaning the free-to-play shooter will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S from December 6, 2024. It is also announced that all the characters will be unlocked for free at the launch and available to play without any barriers.
The availability of various platforms ensures that more players can experience the F2P game. But what about Crossplay? Marvel Rivals supported crossplay across PC, PS5, and Xbox X/S during the closed beta test (July 23, 2024 – August 5, 2024).
However, PC players were not matched with console players (PS5 and Xbox X/S) in the Competitive Mode, whereas the rest of the modes supported PC players to play together with console players seamlessly. This suggests that Cross-play is likely to be supported at full launch, but it’s unclear if the limited cross-play will be changed or not.
