Slash, stab, and shoot your opponents in style after looking at this Psylocke Marvel Rivals skins tier list.
Marvel Rivals has not yet delivered enough skins for Psylocke. She is not the only one who lacks cosmetic variety, but since there are enough Psylocke-mains out there, it can be repetitive seeing her in the same costumes.
For now, we must make use of what we have on our hands. As of Season 0 in Marvel Rivals, Psylocke has three skins, including her default one. That may be upsetting for some fans, but we will have to make do with what we have. So, the tier list today will be a comparison between the following:
- Default Psylocke
- Vengeance
- Kirisaki Sakura
Three costumes for a DPS character are extremely less when compared to skins for another DPS character, Spider-Man. Kindly note that we don’t criticize the costume-makers for their hard work on these skins, nor do we ridicule those who use the skins mentioned in the lower tiers. The list below contains the writer’s subjective opinions.
TIERS | PSYLOCKE SKINS |
S | Vengeance |
A | Default, Kirisaki Sakura |
With only three skins, including the default, in the arsenal, there were only so many tiers that I could make. The allotment of these skins was done based on design and looks because they don’t bring any gameplay changes. If you wish to know our explanation behind this tier list, you can continue reading below.
S-Tier Psylocke Marvel Rivals Skin
The Psylocke in Marvel Rivals is a bit different from what X-Men fans are used to seeing. She is even an Omega-level mutant in one of the timelines. No wonder why she had to be a part of the Timestream Entanglement! But the Psylocke in Marvel Rivals is different because she was one of The Collector’s collections, alongside Jeff the Land Shark, as per the game’s lore.
So, she is a “variant” of the character we are so used to seeing. The developers probably wanted to pay homage to her OG costume, though. This is why we got the “Vengeance” skin, first introduced in 1981, Uncanny X-Men #256.
This skin takes the top tier because it’s a complete rework from the other two we had for comparison. It’s also a good combination of originality and inspiration. You can own it for 1400 Units or buy the entire bundle for 1600 Units instead.
A-Tier Psylocke Marvel Rivals Skins
The default skin looks pretty unique and is original to NetEase. They may have drawn inspiration from some Marvel Comics look that Psylocke, or some other character, was previously seen in. But we can’t argue with the fact that she looks intimidating and skilled at the same time.
The Kirisaki Sakura skin (the one on the right) is just a re-skin of the default one. The only observable difference is in the character’s color coding. Don’t get me wrong, the new colors and print highlight Psylocke’s character personality. However, there is nothing “new.” The similarity and simplicity are what put these two in the A-Tier.
While the default skin has been accessible since the beginning, players need to buy the Kirisaki Sakura skin for Psylocke for 600 Units.
