All Abilities of Angela in Marvel Rivals
Abilities | Effect |
---|---|
Spear of Ichors (LMB) | Lunge forward with your spear, dealing damage that increases with Attack Charge. At full charge, Spear of Ichor can deal more damage and launch up enemies. |
Axes of Ichors (LMB) | Alternate powerful strikes forward with twin axes, dealing increased damage as Attack Charge grows. The fourth strike propels you forward in a swift dash. |
Shielded Stance (RMB) | Transform Ichors into a shield, gaining Attack Charge when absorbing damage. |
Divine Judgement (E) | Dive downward, switch to twin axes, and infuse the ground with Ichors to create a Divine Judgement Zone upon impact. Within the zone, gain enhanced speed, and attacks grant bonus health to self and nearby allies. |
Wingblade Ascent (E) | Enter an accelerated dash state. Take to the skies and switch back to Spear of Ichors. |
Assassin’s Charge (LSHIFT) | Enter an accelerated dash state, becoming immune to knock-back and launch-up. Enemies struck head-on are carried through the air for a short distance. |

Celestial Command (Team-up ability) | Angela shares fragments of her Inchors with Thor, empowering him to hurl a Thunder Spear that restores Thorforce for each enemy struck. Afterward, Thor can leap to the spear’s explosion point, dealing a second wave of damage to all enemies within range. |
How To Play Angela in Marvel Rivals

Angela’s Mobility
Angela can fly in the air for eternity, which makes her very mobile. On top of that, flying gives her more Attack Charge that you can use to unleash powerful attacks. Moreover, Angela can use her shield while flying without losing her speed. By using her Assassin’s Charge ability, she can dash and pin enemies to lure them to another spot. There are only a few vanguards who can freely move around the map, and Angela is one of them.
Angela’s Survivability
She comes with 550 base health, but this number can reach greater heights with her abilities. Angela can get 200 bonus health by hitting enemies in her Divine Judgement ability. Since Angela likes to fly and ambush enemies from the sky, she can survive many grounded attacks. All of these abilities and passives make her very tanky and hard to kill in Marvel Rivals.
Angela’s Playstyle and Combos
Even though Angela has a lot of offensive abilities, she does not deal a massive amount of damage. In order to deal great damage, you need to fill the Attack Charge gauge. You can do this either by flying, by attacking, or by using the Assassin’s Charge ability. The best way to deal damage is to charge your gauge, do a left-click attack, and then pin the enemy with the Assassin’s Charge ability. This is the default playstyle you can go for whenever needed.
However, when fighting multiple enemies, you can use her Divine Judgement ability to create an AoE damage area. After throwing the spear, she enters the axes mode, which will give you bonus health. The best way to get kills is to use her ultimate with the Divine Judgement ability to double the AoE damage.

Best Team Composition With Angela in Marvel Rivals

Angela is a very versatile vanguard who can fight in any team composition. Like many other vanguards, she provides more value when paired with divers, but she can also do well with pokers. Let’s take a look at her team composition:
- Angela
- Thor
- Moon Knight
- Phoenix
- Luna Snow
- Mantis
Angela and Thor can help each other to get to the objective while Moon Knight and Phoenix deal poke damage from afar. In order to make this comp work, you need good healers because Thor and Angela do not have good survivability.
Angela Counters in Marvel Rivals
Angela is very easy to kill if you know what you are doing. She is a melee vanguard, meaning any medium- or long-range duelist can end her flight effectively. Duelists like Hawkeye, Punisher, Black Widow, Winter Soldier, and Iron Man are the best when it comes to countering Angela. Moreover, Peni Parker can blow Angela up with her mines, as she needs to come closer in order to deal damage.
Tips and Tricks To Play Angela in Marvel Rivals

Here are some tips and tricks that you should implement when playing Angela in Marvel Rivals:
- Always choose the best target. There are many heroes that can stun Angela with just an ability, and you don’t want to get stuck in a sticky situation.
- Angela’s ultimate has no range, as she can throw the spear anywhere. However, you can only jump to your ultimate within 30 meters, so try to analyze the situation before performing this action.
- Use her ultimate Divine Judgement ability to deal extra damage.
- You can pair her with Moon Knight or Scarlet Witch to punish stunned enemies with ease.
