Streamers share their reactions to TikTok thanking Donald Trump after the platform resumed operations following a temporary ban.
After a temporary ban in the United States, TikTok has returned for users. Twitch Streamer Hasan “Hasanabi” has shared a screenshot of the message that pops up after opening the application. The message now states that TikTok is back in the U.S. and thanks President Trump for the efforts.
The platform went dark on January 20, 2025, and mentioned that the Biden administration and the Department of Justice had failed to provide the necessary clarity and assurance to the service providers.
However, after just over 14 hours since the supposed ban, TikTok is now accessible to American users. Many on the internet speculate that the situation was a PR stunt by Donald Trump. Some streamers including Hasanabi, Jasontheween, and YourRAGE believe that Trump might have had a master class after the situation. Here are some of the popular streamers reacting to TikTok’s return.

Hasanabi Reacts to the TikTok Pop-Up
Twitch streamer Hasanabi has reacted to the return by calling it a “Master Class”. He also stated that the Democratic party has given a huge ‘W’ to Donald Trump by pulling an “incompetent and unpopular decision”.
Hasan also mentioned that Trump was the one who initially wanted a ban on the platform. The streamer also called it the most expensive free advertisement for Trump, as he is being credited for the app’s return.

DDG Believes Trump Intentionally Got TikTok Banned for a PR Stunt
Twitch streamer and music artist Darryl “DDG” stated that Trump intentionally had TikTok banned so he could get the credit for unbanning it. The streamer stated that Trump got Kodak Black out of jail and won the votes of many. Similarly, Daryl claimed that he would bring back TikTok and everyone would enjoy it. In his stream, DDG stated:
“I know Trump probably called them, right, and he’s like, ‘Man, I’m f**king literally packing my bags right now. I’m going to move into the White House, I promise you I’m going to buy that b*tch, but ban that b*tch until I get in there. Boom, okay cool, y’all banned it. I’mma bring that sh*t back the moment I get back in, and everybody going to f**k with it.'”

Jasontheween Reacts to the Situation
Another popular streamer, Jason “Jasontheween” reacted to the app’s return and stated that it was a “powerplay” by Trump. He also mentioned that it was good PR for Trump to get Gen-Z support. Jason said that he saw someone say that getting TikTok unbanned was the best thing Trump has done in his years of being President.

YourRAGE Wants Trump’s Content Manager
After the unban, another FaZe Clan member YourRAGE, commented on the situation. He stated that Donald Trump raised his net worth by releasing a meme coin and went ahead to “farm” TikTok PR. Rage also stated that he wanted the President’s content manager.

Sneako’s Reaction to the Unban
Controversial streamer Nico “Sneako”, who announced his livestream during Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony, reacted to the unban in one of his videos. The streamer stated that Trump made the ceasefire in Gaza happen, he saved free speech and TikTok.
And he did all of this before he was even in the President’s office. Sneako was present at the inauguration party held by Donald Trump. Nico joined Parti and is set to stream the inauguration ceremony live on the platform.
