In this guide, we will point out all of the cigarette gas spray locations in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater.

You have to visit every cigarette gas spray location in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater if you want to grab fake cigarettes that act as knockout gas dispersal systems. These are just one more non-lethal way of taking out guards in the game, besides your Mk22 and the stun grenades. However, you don’t start with any of these cigarette sprays. Instead, you will need to find them before you can use them against enemies. In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can find the cigarette gas sprays and how you can deploy them against guards.
All Cigarette Gas Spray Locations in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater

You can find two such cigarette gas sprays throughout the game. The following table points you to the location of each.
Cigarette Gas Spray Number | Location |
---|---|
Cigarette Gas Spray 1 | Head to the Graniny Gorki Lab B1 West level. Here, you’ll find a guard station with only one guard inside. Take them down and grab the first cigarette spray from here. |
Cigarette Gas Spray 2 | If you miss the first one, you can grab the second cigarette from the Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing. Go to the second floor here and proceed to the control room on the northern end of the building. Look underneath the central table in the control room for the second cigarette gas spray. |

How To Use Cigarette Gas Spray
You can use the cigarette gas spray to knock out enemies without killing them. Due to their silent nature, using the item won’t alert nearby guards if they don’t spot you. Also, since they aren’t categorized as weapons, you can use the fake cigarettes even inside areas where Snake infiltrates while wearing a disguise. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to use any of your weapons in these levels. So, your Mk22 is less than useless in such scenarios. Besides the cigarette gas sprays, you can also rely on Handkerchiefs to knock out enemies in these zones.
To use a cigarette gas spray, go into your menu. From there, navigate to your Backpack. Now, from the item’s tab, select the cigarette gas spray. Keep in mind that you can only equip up to eight weapons and items in this manner. So, carefully select the items that you want to keep in the tab, depending on how quickly you might need them.
