Everything you need to know about Monster Hunter Stories 3’s pre-order details, including release date, editions, pricing, and more.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflections, the highly anticipated new title in the Monster Hunter spinoff series, finally has a confirmed release date. The game was initially announced earlier this year. However, it’s only recently that Capcom revealed the official release date. Furthermore, following a new gameplay trailer, pre-orders for MHS3 also went live on all storefronts, including the Nintendo eShop.
Surprisingly enough, Monster Hunter Stories 3 is the first title in the spinoff series that’s similar to the mainline titles. Furthermore, the game also comes with various digital editions, each offering a host of different in-game bonuses. Here’s a comprehensive guide on Monster Hunter Stories 3’s pre-order, editions, pricing, and more.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 Release Date and Platforms

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflections is scheduled to be released on March 13, 2026. The game is coming to all current-generation platforms, including the Nintendo Switch 2. This marks the second major title from Capcom that’s coming to the Switch 2, on the same day as other platforms. Furthermore, despite the cell-shaded visuals, MHS3 is another RE Engine title.
However, considering the game is playable on the Switch 2, it should not have the same technical issues that plague Monster Hunter Wilds. In addition to the game’s pre-order details, Capcom also released a new gameplay trailer for MHS3. The trailer not only gave fans a new look at some of the Kinship abilities, but also the first look at Yama Tsukami, an Elder Dragon.
