Monster Hunter Wilds Alma’s Glasses Location: Apple of Her Eye Guide

Monster Hunter Wilds has a range of different side quests that you can complete to receive various useful rewards. The Apple of Her Eye is a similar side mission, where your primary goal is to find Alma’s glasses, which she has misplaced. However, the game does a very poor job at outlining exactly how you must proceed.

So, in this guide, we’ll help you discover Alma’s glasses location in Monster Hunter Wilds. We’ll also tell you how you can proceed with the quest to finally retrieve what Alma lost.

Find the Location of Alma’s Glasses in Monster Hunter Wilds

The Apple of Her Eye quest begins when you speak to Alma and she informs you that she has misplaced her prized glasses. She also tells you that they are somewhere in the Scarlet Forest region. However, she doesn’t give you any other clue about where exactly you need to go. And no map marker appears, which can leave you confused about progressing the mission.

You will have to go to the Wudwud Hideout and inquire about Alma’s glasses there. Specifically, you have to speak to Thunk in this location. He’ll inform you that they tend to collect lost items and treasures in the vicinity of the river. After this conversation, a map marker will appear close to where Thunk pointed. Head there to proceed with the quest further. This is in Area 1 of the Scarlet Forest, near the Base Camp in this region.

Interacting with the Wudwuds in this area will lead to you discovering one of them wearing Alma’s glasses. However, before you can get to it, the creature will run off.

Eyejack Location in Monster Hunter Wilds

After the Wudwud with the glasses escapes, you need to head back to the Wudwud Hideout. There, speak with Thunk again, and he’ll point you to a feast upstairs. Go there and interact with the Wudwuds at the feast. They’ll inform you that Eyejack (the Wudwud who has Alma’s glasses) is sleeping. Simply go down to the first floor and look for a big cauldron. Just above that, you’ll discover Eyejack, sleeping peacefully inside a cocoon.

However, the thief won’t just hand over the glasses to you. Instead, you’ll have to trade for it with Eastern Honey. If you don’t have this ingredient in your inventory, go out into the world and find it.

With the glasses finally in your possession, go back to Alma to finish the quest. You can then use the new pair of glasses to customize Alma’s appearance. From your tent, go to the far-right tab of options for all appearance-related changes.
