Alma’s Outfit customization is a new feature added in Monster Hunter Wilds Free Title Update 1. Here is everything you need to know about changing Alma’s Outfit.
Monster Hunter Wilds features an in-depth customization option that allows players to personalize their Hunter, Palico, and Seikret with several options. These features allowed them to transform their companions into popular figures. The Free Title Update 1 expanded the customizable options to one of the fan-favorite characters, Alma.
Now, players can change the appearance of Alma, though it functions slightly differently than the customization option of Hunter and companions. Let’s dive in-depth to learn everything about Alma’s appearance customization and how to change her outfit in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How To Change Alma’s Outfit in Monster Hunter Wilds
Once you unlock access to the Tent at the Windward Plains during Chapter 1, you are free to customize Alma’s appearance. The process is similar to how you change your Hunter’s appearance. To change Alma’s Outfit, follow these steps:
- Navigate the menu at the tent to locate the Appearance Menu section.
- Choose the Change Appearance option.
- You will notice the new option, Change Alma’s Outfit.
- Clicking the new option opens up the customization menu for Alma, where you can change between her available Outfits and Glasses.
Note: However, you cannot change the color or pattern of the outfits or glasses for Alma.
Alma has three available outfits so far:
- Handler’s Outfit – Default outfit
- Scrivener’s Coat – Free DLC (Available via your platform’s digital store)
- New World Commission – Paid DLC (Costs $5.99)

How To Unlock Alma’s Glass Customization in Monster Hunter Wilds
In addition to outfit customization options, Alma also received customization options for her glasses. This allows you to switch between her two glasses (so far)—Strategist’s Spectacles and Square Glasses. However, the customization option for glass is available only after you complete the side quest, Apple of Her Eye.
The quest requires you to find and retrieve Alma’s special glass from a Wudwud. Track and find a Wudwud named Ayejack and offer it Eastern Honey to retrieve the glass. Return the glasses to Alma to complete the quest, which also unlocks the Glass changing option for Alma.
