The Flamefete Festival, i.e., the new Season of Accord, is now in full swing within Monster Hunter Wilds. With the latest festival comes a host of new decorations, mini-games, and, of course, outfits to unlock. However, unlike the previous Season of Accord, Flamefete offers exclusive outfits for not only the Hunter but also some of the key NPCs, including Gemma. Much like Alma, the Handler, the fan-favorite Smithy has received a cosmetic makeover in the form of a brand-new outfit – Gemmas Summer Coveralls. The new outfit is themed around the Flamefete Festival and is available for all players to try out for the duration of the Season of Accord.

However, if you want to keep the outfit permanently, there’s a way to do so as well. Here’s everything you need to know about Gemma’s Summer Coveralls (swimsuit), and how to get it in Monster Hunter Wilds.

To get Gemma’s Summer Coveralls, you just need to boot the game up during the Flamefete Festival; it’s that simple. Once you start the game, head to the Grand Hub, and you will get a prompt informing you about the Flamefete Festival. Once you go through the prompt, simply head to the Smithy’s station and talk to Gemma. Additionally, you can also just head inside your Camp to change outfits. After talking to Gemma, you will get another prompt that will inform you about her new festival-inspired outfit. After the prompt, select Change Outfit, which will have you go through a short loading screen and switch Gemma’s default outfit with the Summer Coveralls.

To switch back to Gemma’s default outfit, simply head back to your Pop-Up Camp and navigate to the Customization menu. From there, select Change Outfit for Gemma and pick the outfit you want for the Smithy. By default, the Summer Coveralls is available for the duration of Flamefete Festival, i.e., until August 6, 2025. However, you can also purchase Gemma’s Summer Coveralls as a standalone DLC to have it in your inventory permanently.

Gemma’s Summer Coveralls is priced at $5.99 as a standalone purchase. You can also get the outfit as part of the Flamefete DLC Pack, which is priced at $21.99.

Is Gemma’s Summer Coveralls Worth Buying?

Given it’s just a cosmetic for an NPC whom you only interact with when crafting new gear, the Summer Coveralls isn’t a necessary purchase. However, if you’re enjoying your time with Monster Hunter Wilds and want to support its post-launch, getting the outfit for just $6 is a great way to do so. That said, since you do get to use the outfit, albeit temporarily anyway, it’s best to spend your money on other things, like Flamefete decorations or Seikret skin, instead.
