How To Obtain Golden Corneum in Monster Hunter Wilds
Golden Corneum can be obtained from Xu Wu, a Cephalopod-type large monster that inhabits the Ruins of Wyveria. You will encounter the monster during Chapter 3. This predatory monster often engages in turf wars with Guardian monsters.
Xu Wu is also known as the “Piercing Assassin” due to its ability to form sharp objects using its rapidly hardening mucus, which also forms a Golden Corneum. You can obtain the material by breaking Xu Wu’s parts, destroying wounds, or carving, each with different drop rates.

In High-Rank, Xu Wu drops Golden Corneum + instead.
