Monster Hunter Wilds Patch Notes v1.000.03.00 reveals fixes to two major bugs (Smithy and Cooking) that were impacting player experience.

The Monster Hunter Wilds Patch Ver.1.000.03.00 for PS is now live and the patch notes reveal fixes to two major bugs. The patch is also set to arrive for PC/Steam and Xbox Series X|S later with the developers preparing the same. The game’s launch hasn’t been all smooth sailing and Capcom has been noting down bugs and issues to address them.

The late MH Wilds Patch addresses the following two bugs:
- A Bug at the Smithy: Weapon upgrading tutorials are repeatedly shown with certain options in the menu being disabled or grayed out.
- Cooking Locked: Bug where players are unable to unlock the “Grill a Meal” and “Ingredient Center” features even when they have progressed enough in the game and the unlocking criteria have been met.
Both of these can be game-breaking experiences for whoever faces them as the issues essentially cut off major in-game mechanics. Weapon/armor crafting is the bread and butter of a hunter in the Monster Hunter world, while cooking provides you the necessary boosts and skills to tackle a monster. With the latest patch (currently live on PS5 at the time of writing), the issues have finally been resolved.
