MrBeast launched his current YouTube channel on February 20, 2012, and gained over 68 billion views. The YouTuber is ending the year with over 340 million subscribers and 840 videos. MrBeast’s Biggest Controversies and Scandals This Year
Starting in July 2024, multiple allegations against the Beast Games cast member Ava Kris Tyson surfaced. Tyson was accused of sexual misconduct. Videos emerged claiming that MrBeast knew about Tyson’s alleged actions but did not act on them. MrBeast removed Tyson from the cast when the allegations surfaced.
On November 1, 2024, law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart and Sullivan concluded that the allegations were “baseless.” Despite the law firm publishing its report, Tyson has not made a return to the channel.
In September 2024, five Beast Games contestants filed a class action lawsuit against MrBeast and other production companies involved in the reality show. The lawsuit alleges that Beast Games contestants were subjected to mistreatment, sexual harassment, and unpaid wages.
Canada’s Ontario Labor Ministry is currently investigating MrBeast’s show over an alleged injury. According to journalist Steven Asarch, a crew member suffered an injury after a “6-foot by 6-foot piece of the tower at the Beast Games” fell over.

In December 2024, Amanda Rose, a former contestant, alleged that she suffered a traumatic brain injury during the show. She claimed that no one at the show’s set referred her to a medical staff. After leaving the show, she allegedly developed symptoms and had to go through medical recovery for months.
The YouTuber Had Multiple Viral Moments in 2024
MrBeast’s biggest video this year was “50 YouTubers Fight for $1,000,000,” which has over 307 million views. Some of the biggest content creators from YouTube competed in the event, including Kai Cenat, Logan Paul, Ludwig Ahgren, Ryan Trahan, and more. YouTuber Jaiden Animations won the event and said she would spend the money to send aspiring artists to art school.

It might surprise his viewers, but the YouTuber’s biggest project this year was not on YouTube. He partnered with Prime Video to host Beast Games. The content creator posted that it is the “number one unscripted series launch in Prime Video history.”
