The Player DNA is a feature introduced since some of the previous installations of the NBA 2K franchise. In NBA 2K26, there is an all-new MyPlayer DNA option, which will allow you to copy and paste a player you create into each and every roster you create. This is a great way to fit a modern player amongst the legends of the previous eras and play the test of time.

In this article, we will discuss how to use the MyPlayer DNA feature in NBA 2K26.

In the MyPlayer DNA system, you use the MyCareer save file to clone your MyPlayer. This will include everything from the player’s appearance, animation attributes, badges, and tendencies within MyNBA.

You can use this system in any of the MyNBA eras to truly immerse yourself in the experience. With the help of some of the retro presentation filters, you can also adapt various playstyles according to the evolution of the league rules over the years.
