The REC Overview in NBA 2K26
All the matches in play over here are multiplayer-based and not with AI bots. You will have the option to enter matchmaking either solo or with your own crew/squad. If you are entering solo, you will randomly pair up with any other available players in an equal-skill matchmaking.
Playing in the REC helps you level up your progression of your MyPlayer. This mode is specific to the player you have created, allowing you to only control that player. The more you play and level up, the more VC (Virtual currency) you will earn. This will also help boost the badge progression for any of those that you equip during your game.
