The Pirate Captain is the seventh boss in Necesse that disrupts life in various Pirate Villages. You must summon and kill this boss to help out the villagers and the elder. However, summoning him does not work the same as some of the other bosses. You can find the Pirate Captain in various Pirate Villages in the game. Although finding those villages is the tricky part. How To Summon the Pirate Captain in Necesse

Unlike some of the other bosses, you cannot summon the Pirate Captain in Necesse with an item. Instead, the only way to find the boss is to go to a Pirate Village.
To do that, first you will need to find a Pirate Village Map, then you must use it to locate a Pirate Island. After that, travel to it. Once you are there, the Pirate Captain will appear on your map as a boss. The Elder of the Pirate Villages wants to get rid of this boss. So, you shall help them do so by taking it down. However, it is not possible to summon the boss on the same island twice; if you want to do that, you must find a different island. The boss comes with the following health, depending on your difficulty level.

How To Beat the Pirate Captain in Necesse

First things first, the Pirate Captain in Necesse starts attacking you when you get close enough to him or attack him. But because of this range of engagement, he will also stop coming after you if you run away to a safe distance. During the fight, he will shoot his cannons at you, which deal heavy damage. However, if you are close enough, the Pirate Captain resorts to hand-to-hand melee combat.
Moreover, he does not come alone. He brings his Pirate Recruits and Pirate Parrots into the battle. But you can easily deal with it by trapping the Pirate Captain inside a box to isolate him. Also, remember to keep that box in your FOV to prevent more of his goons from spawning.
Once you drop his health to 90%, the Pirate Captain will get onto his ship and stay there till you finish him off. After you defeat him, he becomes the Broken Pirate, and then you can recruit him to your settlement.

The Pirate Captain drops the Pirate Sheath when you kill him for the very first time. It is an important permanent consumable that allows you to increase the number of trinket slots to six. If you already have that, then you won’t get the Pirate Sheath as a drop.
