How To Lure Animals in Necesse

The only way to capture Animals in Necesse is to lure them into a fenced area. Now, to do that, you will need a rope. Rope is an item that you can either find in a chest in the world of Necesse or buy from Farmers or a Traveling Merchant. Once you have the rope, approach the animal you want to capture.

Then, right-click on it with the rope in your hand to attach it to the animal. After that, all you have to do is lead it to a fenced area to keep it. Remember that the rope will count as “consumed” while it is attached to the animal. But you can easily re-obtain it by detaching. Furthermore, if you have more than one rope with you, then it is also possible to capture multiple animals at a time.

How To Domesticate Animals in Necesse

Luring and capturing animals is not enough in Necesse if you want to reap all the rewards they bring to the table. You will have to domesticate them and breed them. To do that, first, you will need to give them food. A feeding trough can be a great method to provide wheat. However, you can also do it by using your own hands.

Keep feeding them wheat, and eventually they will become your tamed animals. In addition to that, if you feed one of your domesticated animals when they are already full, they will give birth to an offspring, but only if there is a suitable partner for it is close by. Once the breeding process the done, the animals involved will receive a 24-minute cooldown.

Remember to only keep 10 animals within eight tiles; otherwise, the game will consider them crowded. This is a nerf that stops breeding altogether.
