These are the best overall settings for New World Aeternum, ready to be dialed in on any of your RTX 50 Series GPUs.
New World Aeternum is an MMORPG that offers incredible visual fidelity. The game is built using Amazon’s Lumberyard (now known as O3DE) engine and requires a high-performance GPU to play at high settings. The RTX 50 Series performs exceptionally well in running the game at high settings, but due to the Lumberyard engine’s limitations, there are numerous issues, such as frame pacing, micro stuttering, rubber banding, and an unpleasant gaming experience.
With the settings below, even the entry-level RTX 5050 will be able to provide a delightful gameplay experience. We have tuned the settings to support higher frame rates while preserving the visuals.
Note: New World Aternum is one of the few games that benefit significantly from frame generation. Regardless of your CPU’s power, you will experience frame time inconsistencies, resulting in micro-stuttering and jittery gameplay. We are using frame generation to address the engine’s CPU-bound issues, which in turn fixes the inconsistent frame time graph and ensures a seamless gameplay experience.

For RTX 5050 and RTX 5060, we recommend playing at 1080p with the settings below. With the RTX 5060 Ti, you can enable 1440p and enjoy the game.
