This guide will explore the locations of the six hidden Golden Scarabs in Act 1 of Ninja Gaiden Ragebound.
Ninja Gaiden Ragebound is a throwback to the classics of the NES in the best way possible. The action is fast-paced, and you’re expected to replay the levels over and over till you master them. Furthermore, the levels also have collectibles that encourage replayability.
The Golden Scarabs are one such collectible item in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, but are ones you can’t afford to miss out on. Golden Scarabs are used to purchase items from Murasama’s shop, so you really need all you can find. This guide will go over all the Golden Scarab locations in Act 1 of Ninja Gaiden Ragebound.

All Golden Scarabs in Level 1-2 in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound
First Golden Scarab in Level 1-2
Load into the level and keep going straight till you run into a building with a fire pit blocking the way. You have to scale using the ceiling, after which you’ll enter an open area with fire balls coming out of the ground. Guillotine Boost over these balls and enter the building ahead. You’ll find an enemy tossing blades at you. The Golden Scarab is right behind him.
Second Golden Scarab in Level 1-2
From the second shrine, head right and through the courtyard. You will then have an encounter with Gurthka, after which meteors will rain down from the sky. Avoid them and keep heading straight. You will find the Golden Scarab inside the first building you seek shelter in.
Third Golden Scarab in Level 1-2
After the rooftop section, you’ll enter a building with tons of enemies. Clear out all the enemies and keep heading straight. You’ll find the Golden Scarab on the main path.

All Golden Scarabs in Level 1-3 in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound
First Golden Scarab in Level 1-3
You’ll find the first Golden Scarab towards the start of the level, in the area with the spiked pits. Once you reach this area, use the Guillotine Boost to get across while avoiding the pits. You will find the item once you reach the safe platform.

Second Golden Scarab in Level 1-3
You’ll find the Golden Scarab right next to the second shrine in the level.
Third Golden Scarab in Level 1-3
From the shrine, head left and keep going ahead till you reach the bridge. Once you do, Gurthka will appear and burn the bridge. You then have to use the enemy’s blade to get across. Beat this enemy and you will find the Golden Scarab in the very next area.
