Ninja Gaiden Ragebound is a challenging game, and this is best encapsulated by the game’s various bosses. To beat the bosses, you need to master the game’s movement mechanics and use the arena itself to its full potential. Each battle can take you a few frustrating tries, but if you’re on Mutant 3 on Level 4-5, it could take a lot more.
Emerging from the cargo train in Level 4-5, the Mutant 3 is a horrific monstrosity composed of several human bodies, and god knows what else. The boss flies around the arena, frustratingly staying out of reach, and lobs electric charges at you. This is one of the harder encounters in the game, and is largely due to the aerial nature of the boss. How To Beat Mutant 3 in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound

To be the boss, you need to be able to read his moves. The Mutant 3 uses the following moves during the Level 4-5 boss fight:
- Electric Grenades: The boss uses the hole in its torso to launch electric grenades onto the floor. These grenades latch onto the train surface and detonate after a second, electrocuting the surface. You first need to dodge the grenades themselves, and then you need to jump up as soon as they detonate. You can jump towards the boss to attack him while dodging. If possible, use the Guillotine Boost repeatedly to stay in mid-air.
- Electric Barrage: Mutant 3 will launch a barrage of electric balls right at you. These balls home in on you, so bait them towards you and jump over them at the last second.
- Bite Attack: The boss will bare its demon teeth and claws, and crash straight into you for a big bite. He does this twice in a row. Dodge at the last second to evade the bite.
- Enemy Summon: The boss will summon minions who jump around the arena. Kill the one with the aura to gain Hypercharge.
