As you complete your search for the seal crystals in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, you’re forced into a rematch with Rhyvashi.

The Demon Lord is looking to take over the mortal realm, and Murasama devises a plan to seal him away for good. Doing so requires you to find three crystals, which you collect over the course of the game’s third act. As you edge closer to success, you run into Rhyvashi once again.
The demon does not lay any trap this time and is blunt about her plans to kill you, kicking off the much-awaited rematch. Rhyvashi retains most of her tricks from the first fight, but now has a few new, hard-hitting moves that can end the fight in a flash. If you’re stuck on this boss in any way, we’re here to help.

To beat Rhyvashi in Level 3-5 of Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, you must master her moveset and punish her at the end of each attack. Below, we’ve shared the moves she uses during the fight:
- Electric Beam: In this move, Rhyvashi shoots an electric beam into the ground, which then pops up from below, right where you’re standing. There are three beams, all of which track your location. Keep moving to dodge them and jump over the electric balls that pop out.
- Claw Swipe: Rhyvashi will bare her claws and sweep the arena twice. Dodge toward her to evade this attack.
- Demon Spikes: Rhyvashi will summon Demon Spikes that fall and burrow into the ground. These spikes work like time bombs that detonate within 3 seconds. Try to destroy all if possible, or simply focus on the spike with the aura to gain Hypercharge.
- Background Attack: Rhyvashi will fade into the background and start charging electricity. Rocks will fall from above, which you need to dodge. She will mix this up with the Electric Beam attack, which you must evade while keeping your eyes peeled for the falling rocks. Finally, she will summon a giant blast that covers the entire arena. You can only survive this by hiding behind a giant rock (this will fall into the arena after the beam attack).
