The post shows a Discord chat screenshot of a person who claims to be an employee of Micromania (a French retailer). According to this alleged worker, their store is ready to accept pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2, which will cost €399. The same Discord chat also provides information on the price of game cartridges for the Nintendo Switch 2. The storefront supposedly received a list of 25 provisional games for the Nintendo Switch 2, with prices varying from €69 to €79. Part of the original Discord chat from this employee reads:
“We received a list of 25 provisional games, with prices ranging from €69 to €79. The list of games is coded, and I can confirm that the price of the Nintendo Switch Online will increase.”
If what this employee said is correct, then at least 25 games are fully ready to be shipped with the Nintendo Switch 2. Furthermore, an increase in the Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) price can also indicate a change in the game prices. This might be significant since Switch 2 will be fully backward compatible as well.
The trailer dropped by Nintendo only confirms the Nintendo Switch 2 and shows its design. The company has not revealed any information on its release date, prices, or when you can officially pre-order it.
