The newly unveiled Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro is now available for preorder at $279. In order to preorder this phone, U.S. customers will have to register for the Nothing Beta Program during the purchase process. Following the registration, they need to add the device to their cart, which will result in giving them access to pre-order.

Nothing plans to set clear guidelines for early adopters by using such an approach. Moreover, this process will ensure that the participants meet the program’s requirements.

A lot is going behind the curtains when it comes to the design and build of the Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro. It is available in 4 finishes–orange, white, green and black. At first glance, we can see that this phone features a notably thin profile, a mere 7.8 mm, and weighs about 6.5 ounces. Thanks to such a thin frame and light weight, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is the lightest Nothing phone produced to date.

The device boasts a design that can incorporate several modular accessories, as well as swappable camera lenses. Using these accessories, users can personalize the device’s functionality according to their unique needs. Currently, Nothing has made available a couple of accessories:

  • Universal cover- It is not simple a phone cover. It also functions as a magnetic adapter for more accessories.
  • Wallet and stand- This accessory uplifts the user experience by combining a cardholder and a stand into a single magnetic accessory.
  • Lanyard- Using the Lanyard for the CMF Phone 2 Pro ensures that you don’t accidentally drop the phone. You can also unhook the look and use the ring to attach your favorite charm, decoration or strap for a personalized experience.
  • Interchangeable lenses- This feature gives you an option to enhance your creativity by swapping the camera lenses. You can switch to the fisheye lens for creative selfies, or use the macro lens to reveal intricate details in extreme close-ups.

Under the hood, a 6th-Gen MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G chipset powers this phone. The chip features an 8-core CPU, capable of reaching speeds of up to 2.5 GHz. The 5000 mAh battery will last you two full days on a single full charge, according to Nothing. Moreover, with the 33W fast charge feature, you can get a day’s power in just 20 minutes.

There are two variants of the Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro, the 8+128GB, and 8+256GB variants. It also features a 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED display with 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and peak brightness of 3000 nits. Furthermore, the IP54 rating makes it dust and water-resistant.

This device boasts an advanced four-camera system to capture 64% more light than the Phone 1. There is also a 50 MP telephoto lens with up to 20x digital zoom, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 50 MP main camera, and finally, a 16 MP front camera.

The photography experience on this phone is expected to be a treat, thanks to features like TrueLens Engine 3 that uses advanced Ultra XDR algorithms with intelligent processing. Using it, the phone delivers incredible light and shadow rendering under various lighting conditions.
