Nvidia has officially revealed the RTX 5050 after months of leaks and rumors of its existence. Some users didn’t actually believe it would launch, given the fact that a similar 50-class GPU never launched in the RTX 40 series, but here we are with the new RTX 5050. It brings some nifty improvements over not only the older RTX 3050 but also the RTX 4060 in terms of higher clock speeds, memory bandwidth, and more.

Performance Target
When it comes to performance, the RTX 5050 should be close to the RTX 4060 in rasterization and extremely similar in ray tracing, if not better. The gap between the RTX 5050 and RTX 4060 will vary depending on the game. While that is not a fantastic improvement, it will be enough for most users if it is available at a lower price than the RTX 4060.
Pricing and Release Date
The Nvidia RTX 5050 is priced at $249 and should launch during the second half of July 2025. An exact release date is not available yet. It won’t be available in a Founder’s Edition, just like the RTX 5060 series cards. Nvidia’s partners Zotac and Inno3D have revealed their RTX 5050 models already, and other partner models will be revealed soon.
