Did Bethesda Softworks actually release Oblivion Remastered? Yes, it happened, and Elder Scrolls fans are very happy about it. After releasing many versions of Skyrim, Bethesda finally released the remastered edition of Oblivion. On top of that, the developers actually implemented some new features into the already ‘near-perfect’ base game.
Fans speculated about what new mechanics might be included, and some hoped for the ability to dual-wield in Oblivion. Unfortunately, there is no dual-wielding feature in the remastered edition. However, there are a few things that might provide a similar experience to dual-wielding.

Dual Wield in Oblivion Remastered
You cannot dual-wield in the remastered edition of this classic game. However, there are ways that might slightly change that. Dual-wielding means equipping two weapons at the same time. The developers did not add the dual-wield feature to maintain the balance of the game. You can equip a shield in your offhand to protect yourself from danger. In addition to a shield, torches can also be equipped in your off-hand.

Additionally, you can bind different spells to a key for use. This feature gives a slight sense of dual-wielding because it provides two sources of damage. Note that you cannot equip primary weapons in your main hand. As of now, there are no mods that enable dual-wielding in Oblivion Remastered.
