Here we will be discussing how to complete the A Liquid Solution quest and help cure Sickly Bernice’s sickness in Oblivion Remastered.
Oblivion Remastered has been enjoying a wave of success, and a rush of pure nostalgic adrenaline is bringing back a lot of players to reminisce about this classic RPG game. In the Shivering Isles expansion, you will soon encounter a character by the name of Sickly Bernice. Her words describe that she is under the impression that a mysterious illness is likely to take her life.
In this article, we will be discussing how to cure Sickly Bernice’s sickness in Oblivion Remastered.
Begin A Liquid Solution in Oblivion Remastered
The mission A Liquid Solution begins when you meet Sickly Bernice at Sickly Bernice’s Taphouse. You can locate this on the southern side of the Crucible. It is directly adjacent to Muutine’s house.
Once you enter the house, walk to the right, down the small set of stairs, and you will find Sickly Bernice behind a table, staring at you with an atrocious smile. Beginning a conversation with her will eventually prompt three choices.
Choose the Cure option to begin the quest to cure Sickly Bernice’s sickness. She thanks you and goes on to explain the only location of the cure. She marks it on your map to make your life easier. The details she gives include:
- Location: Knotty Bramble, by the lowest level of the palace, in a pool.
- Cure: Aquanostrum
- How to collect: Special flask
- How it looks: It bubbles up from around an old statue.
Quest To Find Aquanostrum
Once you reach Knotty Bramble, you will find a small cave-like entrance under the bark of a huge tree. This is located exactly on the icon for Knotty Bramble on the map. Enter it and have a quick duel with an enemy. At the end, you will see the Root Door to Knotty Bramble. Enter it. Now, keep proceeding straight and downward until you reach a large room where you will find a pool of water. Defeat any enemies you encounter along the way.
In the midst of this pool, you will see a statue holding a blue, crystal-like material. The moment you jump into the pool beside the statue, the objective updates. It states that you have obtained a sample of Aquanostrum. Take the cure and head back to Sickly Bernice.
Once you give the cure to Sickly Bernice, she will shower you with compliments, but that’s not all. She also gives a special reward: the Circlet of Verdure ring. This ring grants the following perks:
- Resist Disease: 60%
- Resist Poison: 60%
- Fortifies Health: 35 points
- Fortifies Endurance: 12 points
This ring will definitely aid you in your future travels and make this quest a rewarding one.
