Players can find an Adoring Fan in Oblivion Remastered and recruit them. This article will tell you exactly where to look for that.

The Adoring Fan was a fan-favorite companion in the original Elder Scrolls IV. Gamers liked him so much that Bethesda decided to put him in the 2023 release, Starfield, as well. So, naturally, the Adoring Fan is indeed included in Oblivion Remastered. In practicality, this particular companion is quite useless on the battlefield unless you want a human shield. However, he makes up for it with his constant cheering and comic relief qualities.
In this article, we will tell you how to find the Adoring Fan and what he does. So, if you are interested in this companion who will follow you around while not contributing much to the gameplay or the story, then read our instructions carefully.
Where To Find the Adoring Fan in Oblivion Remastered?

The Adoring Fan is an admirer, and to get an admirer, players will have to achieve a particular thing first. More specifically, you will have to achieve the rank of Grand Champion in Oblivion Remastered’s Arena. For that, first, you will need to travel to the Imperial City’s Arena. You can simply follow the arena marker on your map or look at the image given above.
It is located in the eastern part of the Imperial City. After reaching the arena, enter through the main gate and go through the wooden door to your left. You will then enter the Bloodworks. From there, you will have to enter the small room on the left side, where you will find Owyn. Now, tell Owyn that you wish to be a combatant in the Imperial Arena, and he will officially recruit you and give you an Arena Raiment.
After that, the task won’t be complicated, but it will be difficult. You will have to emerge victorious in 22 fights in the Arena to become the Grand Champion. Keep in mind that as you progress, the battles will become increasingly harder. In addition to that, you will rank up every three battles, but still, you should try to reach the level of your opponent before engaging so you can have a fair fight. You will reach the final battle against the reigning, defending Grand Champion, Agronak gro-Malog, once you gain the Champion Rank.
Additionally, if you decide to do Agronak’s quest, “Origin of the Gray Prince,” before the battle, then he won’t fight back during the fight in the Arena. However, if you kill him this way, then it would count as murder. Once you have defeated Agronak and achieved the rank of Grand Champion, you will find the Adoring Fan waiting for you near the Arena’s entrance. Talk to him, and if you wish to, allow him to follow you around.
What Does the Adoring Fan in Oblivion Remastered Do?

As we briefly discussed earlier, the Adoring Fan does not do anything useful. He won’t aid you in combat; instead, he will run away once a fight breaks out. You cannot use him to carry your items either. But it is quite possible to put a frenzy spell on him, which will compel him to fight for a limited amount of time.
Additionally, you can make him stay in one place or leave your side by speaking to him. However, the Adoring Fan is notorious for his unexpected and humorous deaths. So, if that ever happens, you will be able to find him near the Arena entrance after three days.
Lastly, it is safe to say that the Adoring Fan in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is not the most useful companion. And while some players might find him annoying, we can assure you that he tries his best to make the game fun for a while.
